What can you expect to happen when you contact NASL
Every claim can be different, depending on your specific needs. However, below we have outlined the typical process our claims follow.
How It Works
- 1. Get In Touch
It’s easy to start off your claim. Just call us using the phone number at the bottom of this page, or submit your details using the form below.
- 2. Claim Assessed
One of our claims handlers will discuss the details of your claim and the accident circumstances with you and determine if we think you have a genuine case. If all is well, and we think we can be of assistance, we move on to the next step.
- 3. Claim Proceeds
If your bike is not roadworthy as a result of the accident, we will typically arrange for a hire bike delivered to you. You can use this bike until your old bike is repaired, or if your old bike is written off, until you get your cheque for the value of the bike. We’ll do our best to match the hire bike to your old one, so it’s better suited to you. If you have sustained any loss from the accident, we can put you in touch with specialist solicitors, who will pursue a compensation claim on your behalf.
- 4. Claim Settled
As your claim comes to a close, you’ll get your bike back, good as new. Or, in the event that the bike was written off, you’ll get a cheque for its full value. We’ll collect the hire bike back once you’re happy, and your solicitors will claim back all of your losses from the other party’s insurance company.
